Breast Health Services

Despite breakthroughs in treatments, breast cancer remains one of the most common cancer in women, regardless of race or ethnicity. Women have a 1 in 8 chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Parkland Health providers wants to help. From prevention, early detection or a treatment plan, your care plan is dedicated to cutting edge medical care and support services to keep you healthy, active and living a full life.

Screening mammograms

Women aged 40- 74 should get a screening mammogram every year. Talk to your primary care doctor about steps you can take for breast health, including screenings at the Moody Center for Breast Health.
