Become a member of a Parkland clinic advisory board
An advisory board is a group of people from the community who have been chosen to let Parkland clinics know about the community’s needs and problems. The board includes patients and members from churches, businesses and community agencies. They meet every other month.
Here are some things the advisory boards do:
- Check and recommend goals for projects at each community clinic.
- Check to see how projects are doing and give advice to the clinic’s leaders.
- Connect with the community.
- Give information on care needs of the community.
