Patient Resources

Parkland Health offers online information and tools to help you navigate our health system. We understand that finding the information you need can be hard – especially if you don’t know where to begin. We’re here to help. The tools that follow were created with your needs in mind. Your time is important to us.

Paying for your services

Parkland’s Patient Financial Services staff can answer your questions about billing, payment options, applying for insurance programs you may qualify for, surprise billing, receiving a Good Faith Estimate and other topics related to paying for your care, including Medicaid, Medicare, Parkland Financial Assistance and Parkland Community Health Plan. Our highly trained financial counselors are ready to help you.

MyChart

MyChart is your online medical record that allows you to stay in touch with your nurses and doctors, ask for appointments and request medication renewals. You can also get test results faster, review your after-visit instructions and keep up with your medical record in one convenient online location. MyChart is free for all Parkland patients.

Medical Records

We encourage you to sign up for MyChart for easy access to your health records; however, you can also request copies of medical records by downloading our online request form and submitting either in person or by mail. We can not process requests by email.  Visit our Medical Records page to learn more.

Birth Certificates

The Birth Certificate office completes birth certificates for babies born at Parkland. We also provide information on how to contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics to obtain an original copy of the birth certificate.

For additional questions or concerns, please call Parkland’s main help desk at 214-590-8000 or contact us for more information.
