To keep our patients and visitors safe, two visitors are allowed for each patient at any given time. Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. You must be on the patient’s visitor list to enter Parkland. If you are not on the patient’s list, you will not be able to enter. Please talk to the patient to ask to be placed on their visitor list. You may call the hospital operator (214-590-8000) to reach the patient’s room.

Photo ID
For your safety, Parkland now requests photo identification to enter the hospital. Please have a photo or picture ID ready to show Guest Services staff. If you do not have a photo ID, please see Guest Services for further information.
Connecting virtually with your loved one:
In some cases, Parkland may use telemedicine or technology, such as conference call or video chat technology, to help provide healthcare and reduce the need to be inside the healthcare facility. We also work with patients and their families to use technology to help them stay in touch with each other while hospitalized, such as video chat.
Please contact your clinic for questions related to bringing a guest or support person to access care.
Patients can use Parkland MyChart, our free online medical record system, to schedule a medical appointment by phone or video chat. Log in or set up an account to request a private virtual appointment for routine healthcare needs, such as colds, coughs, rashes and other common conditions.
