Visitor Policy
What visitors need to know:
Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
Visitors MUST be on the patient’s approved visitor list to enter the hospital. Please ask the patient to place you on their visitor list before arrival.
You may call the hospital operator (214-590-8000) to reach the patient's room.
Please have a photo ID ready to show upon arrival. If you do not have a photo ID, please see Guest Services for further information.
For inpatient areas, two visitors per patient are allowed at any given time.
Visitors may not eat food in patient rooms.
Connecting virtually with your loved one
In some cases, Parkland may use technology such as conference call or video chat to help provide healthcare and reduce the need to be inside the healthcare facility. We also work with patients and their families to use technology to help them stay in touch with each other while hospitalized, such as video chat.
