The Parkland Orthopaedics Spine service provides a comprehensive approach to the care and management of spine injuries and conditions. Many of the new technologies and available techniques for modern spine care have been evaluated and used routinely at Parkland. The Parkland Orthopaedic Spine team offers leading-edge expertise in the evaluation and treatment of a broad range of conditions and injuries that occur at all ages, from young to senior adults.

Kevin Gill, MD specializes in the care of the spine.

Robert Metzger, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC has been specializing in spine care since 2001 and has been serving the Parkland Orthopaedic Spine Clinic since 2007.
He obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Texas Woman’s University and has been a family nurse practitioner since 2000. He regularly lectures on spine care, in addition to being published in the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Journal for Nurse Practitioners. |
