HIV counseling, testing and referral are designed to:

  • Increase your knowledge of your HIV status;
  • Encourage and support risk reduction; and
  • Secure needed referrals for services (medical, social, prevention and partner services).

Get Tested For HIV at Parkland


As a part of the HIV prevention program at Parkland, RAPID HIV testing is provided at the ACCESS Clinic at the Moody Outpatient Center during normal business hours and during community outreach activities. Additionally, routine testing is primarily done in the Parkland ER and the Parkland Urgent Care Emergency Center.
