Healthcare innovation at work

The Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation (PCCI) is the only site in North Texas to be awarded a federal grant to study healthcare cost drivers and health disparities, as reported by D Healthcare Daily. Experts at PCCI also shared with Becker's Hospital Review how data analytics can inform hospital operations.

Thyroid disease in women

Thyroid disease affects women more often than men, impacting functions such as metabolism, body temperature and fertility. Alex Tessnow, MD shared with KTVT-TV (CBS) the importance of thyroid hormones and who should be tested for possible problems.
