Parkland offers flu shots at walk-in clinics
 The flu can be a serious illness, especially for pregnant women, children and older adults. With the weather cooling down, flu season is right around the corner. KXAS-TV (NBC) and KRLD-AM reported on Parkland's Walk-in Wednesday clinics where residents of Dallas County can get their flu shots without an appointment every Wednesday through the fall and winter months.

Parkland offers no-cost mammograms
 When it comes to breast cancer, early diagnosis is a key to survival. According to KUVN-TV (Univision), WFAA-TV (ABC), KXTX-TV (Telemundo), NBCDFW.com, Univision.com, TelemundoDallas.com and El Communicador de Dallas, Parkland is offering no-cost mammograms and breast health education through the month of October, which is breast cancer awareness month.
