Where to get the flu shot
08/23/2022
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that
everyone 6 months of age and older get the flu shot in September or October,
before the start of the flu season. Don’t worry if you miss the recommended time
frame to receive your shot, you should still get it.
Experts review which strains of the flu are in other areas of the world to predict
which will hit the United States. Each year, the flu shot is made to protect you
from those strains. Getting the flu shot can help prevent medical problems,
decrease the time and how severe the illness is and save lives of those around you
who have a hard time fighting viruses.
