Emergency Care

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911.

If you have thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else or are in crisis, please call the National Suicide Crisis Lifeline at 988.

The Parkland Emergency Room (ER) provides full-service emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We strive to address everyone who enters the ER with compassion and respect while caring for their needs.

Our highly trained emergency medical staff includes Board-certified physicians, medical residents, mid-level providers and registered nurses.

Parkland’s ER entrance is located at the hospital and faces Harry Hines Boulevard. Get information on driving and parking to the Parkland Emergency Room.

If you need medical attention that is not life-threatening, please visit our Urgent Care Emergency Center on the first floor of the hospital. Our Urgent Care Emergency Center staff treats sprained joints, ear infections, colds, flu, strep throat and more.
