Parkland Health's Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department is dedicated to helping patients recover from life-changing illnesses. Our goal is to improve quality of life and restore functional ability for patients who have experienced a variety of illnesses that have affected their ability to function, such as musculosketetal injuries, strokes, brain injuries, burns, spinal cord injuries and other acute and chronic illnesses. Our team includes specialized physical, occupational and speech therapists, providers specializing in rehabilitation treatments, case managers, social workers and rehabilitation psychologists.
