Seven warning signs of breast cancer
Not everyone that has breast cancer has signs or symptoms. Also, one person can have different warnings signs from another person. Getting a mammogram (X-ray of the breast) is the best way to find breast cancer early. Finding it early means it is easier to treat.
Some warning signs of breast cancer are:
- A lump or pain in the breast
- Thickening or swelling of part of the breast
- Redness or flaky skin on the breast
- Pain in the nipple area
- Any change in size or shape of the breast
- Fluid other than breast milk from the nipple, especially blood
