The building was designed with the unique emotional experiences of female patients in mind along with insights from clinical, security, food service and operational management and staff.

Parkland's Chief of Pediatrics, Donna Persaud, MD, offered recommendations for ways parents can help reduce the likelihood of sudden infant deaths related to sleep, according to El Heraldo News.
