Hatcher Station Health Center dedication draws praise

Community leaders and elected officials applauded the dedication of Hatcher Station Health Center, a Parkland community clinic that is located in a medically underserved area in southeast Dallas. D Healthcare Daily, The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Voice and Al Dia share the health center's importance to the community.

How Parkland is helping fight type 2 diabetes

More than 50,000 Parkland patients are living with diabetes. Luigi Meneghini, MD, executive director of Parkland's Global Diabetes Program, spoke to KERA-FM about Parkland's Diabetes INSIDE initiative and its aim to optimize care for diabetic patients.

Many jobs created during course of construction

BEN Network reported that construction and opening of Parkland's new campus generated 3,000 construction-related jobs and more than 300 new positions, ranging from lab technicians and nurses to police officers and engineering staff.
