Parkland offers drive-through COVID-19 testing for Parkland patients

Parkland continues to work with Dallas County Health & Human Services (DCHHS) to coordinate testing for COVID-19 and follow appropriate infection prevention protocols and required quarantine standards. Judge Clay Jenkins told talked with KTVT-TV (CBS11), KUVN-TV (Univision), KRLD-AM and The Dallas Morning News about how Parkland implemented drive through COVID-19 testing beginning March 16. This testing is by appointment only for current Parkland patients who meet the medically necessary criteria with a Parkland physician's order. Parkland limits visitors and cancels community events for the health and safety of patients, visitors and staff

For the safety and well-being of our patients, visitors and staff, Parkland on March 12 Parkland began limiting visitors in all facilities including the hospital and clinics. We understand the importance of visitors and loved ones, but this is a necessary step to protect the health of all who enter our doors.
