Parkland Financial Assistance program changes
The Parkland Financial Assistance (PFA) program is changing eligibility levels starting on Sunday, July 1. PFA gives financial help for healthcare if you make up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Income Level (FPIL).
PFA is not health insurance, but if you qualify, it can help you pay for medical care you receive at Parkland or one of our clinics.
If you’ve been on PFA before, you don’t have to come to the hospital to apply again. Learn how to reapply.
For questions about the changes, call Patient Financial Services at 214-590-4900, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
