Parkland receives $15 million from Hamon Charitable Foundation

Thanks to the generosity of the Hamon Charitable Foundation, the Center for Collaborative Medicine will be created at the new Parkland hospital honoring the clinical care and teaching excellence of Parkland and its partners, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center. The Hamon Charitable Foundation announced on May 7 it will pledge $10 million to the I Stand for Parkland campaign to build the new hospital. With their previous gift of $5 million, the $15 million gift is one of the largest to the campaign.
