New program targets mental health emergencies
 The Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire-Rescue have partnered with Parkland on a new behavioral health response program called RIGHT Care, according to The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Observer, D Healthcare Daily, KDFW-TV (FOX), KXAS-TV (NBC) and KRLD-AM. A special team comprised of a Parkland psychiatric social worker, paramedic and a police officer will answer mental health emergency calls to help connect people with resources within their community and avoid hospitalization.
