Parkland's Global Diabetes Program improves patient access, care

Accessing care can be a major challenge for patients with diabetes. Star Local Media, a group of locally based newspapers including Mesquite News and Carrollton Leader, detailed Parkland's team approach of physicians, nurses, psychologists, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers and financial experts who rotate around the patient, instead of making the patient adjust to the needs of the care providers.
