Surgical Critical Care Fellowship

The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center ranks among the top ACGME-approved fellowships in the country. The purpose of the fellowship is to provide extended post-surgical training in both trauma surgery and surgical critical care. Fellows in this competitive program rotate through Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital and other sites within the DFW area.

The fellowship offers robust clinical exposure, research and quality improvement opportunities. Graduates have been extremely successful in securing sought-after opportunities at level I and II trauma centers throughout the country and leadership positions at the regional, state and national levels.
