Burn Aftercare Services
Support After a Burn Injury
Healing doesn’t end when you leave the hospital. That’s why the Parkland Burn Center offers support to help burn survivors and their families adjust, connect, and thrive. Whether it’s returning to school, joining a support group, or attending burn camp, you’re not alone—and we’re here to walk beside you.
SOAR (Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery)
Peer support group of burn survivors and loved ones who visit patients while they are still in the hospital. Offered in partnership with the Phoenix Society.

School Re-Entry Program
We help make the transition from hospital to classroom as smooth as possible for burn survivors, their classmates, and teachers. The team can accompany the child, support them in telling their story, provide guidance to staff and families, and provide fire-safety education.
