Getting the flu shot is the most effective way of protecting you and your family from the flu. Ideally, you want to vaccinate against flu viruses before they begin spreading in your community. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends people get vaccinated in October, but that does not mean that it’s too late to get a flu shot if you miss that window. Flu shots are offered at no cost to you at these locations across Dallas County:
