The Administrative Services Division of the DCHD Police Department provides law enforcement support services. To enhance the safety of patients, visitors and staff Public Service Officers routinely patrol parking garages and surface lots. Public Service Officers take police reports when an offense or an incident is reported, and provide information to police officers and/or members of the Criminal Investigations Department.

Patient and Visitor Parking
Patients and visitors who arrive to the main hospital campus via personal car may park in the Tower Garage, located at Tex Oak and Medical District drives. Parking is available in this 8-story garage 24/7 for a cost of $5 per car. A limited number of spaces are also available in the Emergency Department surface lot located near the ER at Harry Hines and Parkland boulevards. Cost is $5.
Surface lot parking is free at all of Parkland’s neighborhood-based health centers located throughout Dallas County.
In addition, valet services are available at a cost of $10 per vehicle.
Employee Parking
Employee parking on the main hospital campus is available via badge access in the Trinity and Logistics lots. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the old ER and Motor Street garages located on the old Parkland campus and employees will be assigned to those garages by request on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting Parking Services at ParkingServices@phhs.org or by calling 469-419-PARK (7275); internally 7-7275. In addition, a limited number of spaces are located by the OK Paper Warehouse on Butler Avenue. The Tower Garage is reserved for patients and visitors.
Shuttle services
A shuttle service is provided for patients, visitors and staff who need to travel between locations on or near the medical campus.
DART Route 704
Serves both Parkland Memorial Hospital and Old Parkland campus (OPC). This route stops at the OPC entrance, Parkland Memorial Hospital main entrance, Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station (Anderson Clinic/Green Line), Trinity Lot (Employee Parking) and Parkland Memorial Hospital employee entrance. Buses operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with approximate frequencies of six minutes (peak 5 a.m. – 9 a.m. & 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.), 10 minutes (off-peak 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.) and 20 minutes (overnight 9:30 p.m. – 5 a.m.).
DART Route 705
Serves both Parkland Memorial Hospital and Old Parkland campus (OPC). This route stops at the Medical/Market Center Station (TRE), Harry Hines Boulevard & Parkland Boulevard and Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station (Anderson Clinic/Green Line). Buses operate 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week, with approximate frequencies of seven minutes (peak 5 a.m. – 9 a.m. & 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.) and 10 minutes (off-peak 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.) apart.
ASC
This route stops at the Old Parkland campus (OPC) entrance, Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), Anderson Clinic, WISH entrance and Parkland Memorial Hospital main entrance. Shuttles operate Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., with approximate frequencies of 15 minutes.
Mammo Route
This route stops at the Old Parkland campus (OPC) entrance, Parkland Memorial Hospital main entrance, WISH entrance, Anderson Clinic, Parkland Comprehensive Breast Center (Mammo/5701 Maple Ave.) and Family Medicine Clinic (5920 Forest Park Road). Shuttles operate Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., with approximate frequencies of 20 minutes.

Old ER Drive/NPH (Employee Only)
This route stops at the old ER Drive/ER Garage and Parkland Memorial Hospital employee entrance. The shuttle operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with approximate frequencies of 15 minutes.
Valet services
Valet parking is available for patients and visitors to Parkland Memorial Hospital, the Ron J. Anderson, MD Clinic Building and the Outpatient Clinic. Valet hours are Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at a cost of $10 per vehicle. Identification badges
All Parkland physicians, staff, contract workers and vendors are issued Parkland Health & Hospital System identification badges that must be worn at all times when on the main Parkland campus or at any of its off-site office locations or neighborhood-based health centers. Badge access is required in all “non-public” areas of the hospital. ID badges must be worn at chest level and visible at all times. Other than a hospital-issued flu vaccination sticker, badges must be free of stickers, pins or any other affixed item that can damage or destroy the badge.
If your badge is lost or stolen, contact the DCHD Police Department. The ID Badge Office is located in the DCHD Police Department, located on the first floor of the Logistics Building, 5223 Tex Oak Ave., Dallas, TX 75235.

Parking enforcement
DCHD Police Department Public Service Officers are authorized to write citations for any violation such as:
- Parking in an unauthorized location such as handicap space violations, no parking zones, fire lanes, etc.
All operators of vehicles parked on campus are responsible for complying with the parking rules and regulations.
