Using this online tour, you can discover the spacious areas and innovative features in the new Parkland. This online tour allows you to look at every detail of some of the hospital's most impressive sections, including a patient room, trauma room, labor & delivery triage area and more. Instead of just being a gallery of images of these areas, these images are panoramic photos that give you the freedom to explore entire rooms by scrolling your mouse (or finger if you are on a mobile device or tablet).
Each image has buttons that you can click to learn more information. To find these buttons, look for the dark circles with a purple outline. To exit the image, click the red bar at the top of each image. The online tour is not compatible with Internet Explorer 8.

Patient Room
See what safety features will help Parkland staff care for you in the new Parkland's Patient Rooms.

Labor & Delivery Room
All 44 of the new Parkland's Labor & Delivery Rooms are private and larger than the rooms used in the current hospital. The expanded space allows new mothers to give birth and recover in the same room.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Room
Rooms in the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were designed as a comfortable, healing space where families and staff could closely monitor a baby's health.

Labor & Delivery Triage Room
The new Parkland's Labor & Delivery Triage Rooms are much larger and more private than the rooms in the current hospital.

Trauma Resuscitation Room
Parkland's strong legacy in trauma care will continue in the new hospital. The new Trauma Resuscitation Rooms give Parkland staff room and efficiency to save lives in critical condition.

Operating Suite
The new Parkland's Operating Suites are twice as large as the suites in the current hospital. Advanced video capability helps surgeons during operations and can be used as an educational tool with the patient's consent.

Emergency Department Waiting Area
We understand that the Emergency Department Waiting Area can be a stressful environment. See what great efforts we made to make this space as comfortable as possible.
Chapel
The Chapel and its corresponding Kevin and Kelvin Johnson Twin Chapel Garden is designed to offer comfort, solace and strength.
Moody Foundation Wellness Garden
One of the main ideas behind the new Parkland was to put the "park" back in Parkland. Find out how we achieved that by taking a look around the Moody Foundation Wellness Garden.
Helipad
When patients are airlifted to the new Parkland's Helipad, special elevators can zip down 17 floors to the Trauma Department in just 32 seconds. Note: this image does not have clickable buttons.
