After being home for so long it can be a hard transition going back to normality. Following a healthy routine is a great way to smoothly transition back. Here are three health tips to follow for a healthy routine:
Following healthy sleeping patterns: It is important to get at least eight hours of sleep. Many health risks are associated with tiredness and lack of good night sleep can also result in poor performance, whether it be your child at school or you at work.
Putting phones away and setting limits: Setting your phone aside an hour before bed is a good way to relax and unwind from the social media stress. Also, exposure to blue light from your phones screen can disturb your natural sleep pattern (circadian rhythm) by decreasing your body’s production of melatonin.
Making time to exercise: Exercising creates body positivity, decreases the risk of becoming overweight and lowers your chances of getting type 2 diabetes along with many other health benefits.
