Family Medicine

The Parkland Family Medicine Clinic provides health care to children, adults and seniors. These services include physicals, preventive care check-ups, chronic disease management, sick visits and acute care. The clinic is the primary training site for the Parkland/UTSWMC Family Medicine Residency Program.

Ancillary Services

Laboratory, Financial counseling, Tele- retinal (eye) imaging & EKGs

Vaccinations

Texas Vaccine for Children, common vaccines for adults i.e. tetanus, flu, pneumonia

Behavioral Health Services

Social work and psychology by referral of a primary care provider

Procedures On-Site

Common office procedures such joint injections, skin biopsies, toe nail removal, vasectomies etc.

Women's health procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies. IUD placements, endometrial biopsies. Contraception planning including Nexplanon implants and Deproprovera injections.

Community Health and Wellness Programs

Shared medical appointment, diabetes management program, home visits, geriatric assessment clinic and behavioral health clinic.

Interpreters are available to patients at the health center, by video and by phone.
